Retailers (and so… many… bloggers…) are starting to focus on fall fashion, but I’m just not mentally or physically ready for it. That’s why I think this dress is the perfect median.
Even though it feels like summer is starting to slip away, I promise we’ve got plenty of warm weather days left. The thing is that summer and fall isn’t as binary as black and white. There’s an in-between, when the color palettes start to shift toward darker colors, but fabrics need to stay light enough to get you through the 80-90°F days. That’s why I love this pretty dress – the white backdrop and the ruffle sleeves say summer, but the moodier colors of the floral print are a subtle nod to the season ahead. It’s perfect for work or weekend and summer (with sandals) or fall (with booties and a jean jacket).
