Later this week, James and I are headed down to St. Martin for a little tropical getaway. I did a little pre-vacay shopping this past weekend, but I have a bit more outfit planning and packing to do. I’m thinking strappy sandals (although I’ll probably be barefoot the entire time), bright rompers and tropical print everything. I’ve never been more ready for summer and I think last month’s purchases would agree. Instead of stocking up spring layers, I spent most of my shopping budget already in vacation mode. Midi skirts might be my thing right now, but this spring, I’m also on the hunt for the perfect maxi dress (haven’t worn one in almost a year). Dress it up or dress it down, wear it day or night — maxi dresses are a one stop shop with so many ways to wear. So when I find one that I love (like this printed piece or this lounge-y number), I plan on living in it all spring and summer.
