When I booked my ticket to TX to visit my BFF Emily, she told me to pack my cowboy boots. Well my friends, this is probably as close as it gets. Skinny jeans and ankle boots — I know it’s far from rodeo material, but it was perfect for grabbing coffee and wandering the Riverwalk in San Antonio on a Sunday morning. Consider it my city twist with a splash of country inspiration.

Love this simple look! Every time I see you in chartreuse, I think of how NICE that color is on you! I don’t think it would even come close on me!
Bold Subtlety
What a perfect outfit! I hope you enjoyed the Riverwalk as much as I do! I try to take a stroll at least three times a week! It has a soothing effect amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

As a California girl, those seem like perfectly acceptable cowboy boots! 🙂 I’ve heard lovely things about San Antonio, I want to visit someday (I’ll probably pack my ankle boots too).

I recognized the background in a second! Welcome to my city. I hope you liked it. It’s perfect timing, too, with all the Fiesta! 🙂
ahh, i love your “alternative” cowboy boots! love the bold color of your top too.
jenn @ hello, rigby!
Love the yellow top! I’ve been thinking I need to add more yellow to my wardrobe (to keep the 2 yellow button downs I have company). It’s such a fun colour!
