I’m not usually a matchy-matchy kind of girl. My boyfriend can attest to that, considering that I constantly force him to change shirts if we’re ever wearing the same shade of anything (sorry babe!). Even my fingernails are never painted the same color as my toenails. But lately, I’ve been entertaining the idea of the matching set.
I never thought I had the je ne sais quoi to pull off the look, but the more I see it rolling down runways and onto the racks, the more I want to give it a shot. Because why not? Whether you’re dipping your toes into a fun print or a classic texture, there is plenty of experimentation to be had! And when you’ve given it a whirl, each piece is as perfect on its own. Check out how I would style a matching set and let me know what you think of the trend!
There should be a day between Saturday and Sunday because I could really use some extra time in my life. Sadly, there’s not so I’ll just have to settle for getting dressed as easily as possible on Monday mornings.
Enter these insanely comfortable, pajama-inspired pants. I’ve never felt so at ease with a pair of pants before. Add a soft burgundy tee and you can bet that I’ll be rolling straight out of bed and into this outfit today.
For the first time in a month, I get to enjoy a weekend without plans and I couldn’t be happier. No work trips, no family reunions, no outlandish adventures (we’ll save those for the weeks to come). The only thing on my agenda might be a boozy brunch, a date with Netflix and a little bit of shopping. So since I’m taking it easy this weekend, I’m looking to effortless pieces like a flowy maxi dress or a delicate necklace to keep things refined and relaxed. What are your non-plans this weekend?
