It’s Monday, so while it’s back to the grind in the office, I can guarantee you that my mind is wandering elsewhere. Maybe reminiscing about my tropical vacation in May … maybe planning my upcoming week in Arizona next month … maybe I’m just wearing these tribal print pom pom shorts, because it’s the closest I can get to feeling like I’m off on a trip somewhere. Just maybe.

When I think of moto jackets, black leather (or vegan leather!) is the first image that comes to mind. But when the temperatures rise and the humidity skyrockets (insert preemptive ugh here), the last thing I want to be feel is leather stuck to my skin. Lately, I’ve been exploring knit moto jackets as an alternative texture.
I’m loving this little cream number from LOFT, which happens to be a mish mash of French terry and lace. Throw it over a simple navy dress and this look will easily take you from work to weekend during warmer weather.
