Even though I love me some bold color, I have been known to dabble in more neutral palettes from time to time. When I got my hands on this black midi skirt (yeah … I also have it in berry and green), I knew I wanted to play up its sophisticated feel. 
Black and white feels a little cooler and just seems so right. Maybe New York is rubbing off on me. Maybe this is a part of growing up. Whatever it is, you can still count on a sprinkle of polka dot or a dash of color, just to make sure I’m not taking myself too seriously.
