Teal Maxi Dress & Jean Jacket

One of my favorite dresses is back for fall.  I originally fell in love with this teal maxi dress from LOFT earlier this summer and I plan on wearing it until it’s too cold to be rockin’ the side slit.  The best part is that transitioning a maxi from summer to fall doesn’t require that much effort.  All you need is a denim jacket and a leopard clutch and you’ll have that dress doing double duty in no time.  Sadly, it’s not longer available at LOFT, but the entire site is 40% off through Saturday — so shop to it and have a wonderful weekend!

I think it’s safe to say that literally everyone was gushing about the wonderfully warm weather we had last weekend.  But since fall is back and likely here to stay, it’s time to switch gears and talk about the perfect fall outfit.  As much as I’m dreading the shorter days and colder weather, I love dressing for the season.  I’m talking floppy hats, textured knits and cozy coats.  I will definitely be stocking up on all of the above for fall.
