Windowpane & Stripes Winter OUtfit

I think it’s safe to say that blanket scarf weather is here to stay.  I wore this windowpane number on our first day in Paris and got plenty of mileage out of it throughout our trip.  We walked everywhere.  Starting off at a café near the Jardin des Tuileries, we wandered down Champs-Elysées to check out the Arc de Triomphe and later scoured the city for the perfect macaron.  Priorities, ya know?

I don’t blame you for wanting to stay snuggled in your bed today.  Winter is here and it’s back with a vengeance.  With a high of 27°F in the NYC, you’ll likely find me bundled up in a thick sweater, a pair of leggings and rain booties.  I wish I could say a bold coat could brighten up my outlook, but let’s be real — it’s going to be a puffer jacket kind of day/week/winter.  I hope you’re staying warm today!

Bonjour 2015!

Plaid Blanket Scarf & J.Crew Coat

Hello 2015!  Even though we’re already five days into it, today feels like the official start of the new year. Maybe it’s because I spent all of New Year’s Day hungover in bed.  Or maybe it’s because I’m finally back to work and blogging after a long weekend.  Yeah, let’s pretend it’s that.

Plaid Blanket Scarf & J.Crew Coat

To kick off the New Year, I’ll be sharing some of my outfits from my trip to Europe over Christmas break.  I sported this blanket scarf and this faux fur hooded coat on our visit to the Louvre in Paris.  The fiancé navigated our way through the selfie-obsessed crowds in front of the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo and wandered through as many halls as we could.  We could’ve spent all day there and still not have seen everything so now I’m counting the days until we get to go back!
