Two Ways to Wear a Windowpane Skirt

I’m back with another two ways to wear and this one’s perfect for work!

Left: Mustard Sleeveless Jersey Knit Top (also comes in black) / Windowpane Sweater Skirt (also comes in a matching top) / Leopard Pumps / Brown Crossbody Bag / Right: Printed Ruffle Collar Sleeveless Blouse / Windowpane Sweater Skirt / Brown Suede Pumps / Burgundy Tote Bag

For as much clothes as I own, there are plenty of days where I stare blankly into my closet, not knowing what I should wear. It’s pretty pathetic! That’s why I love putting together this ‘Two Ways to Wear’ series – it challenges me to be more creative and envision how I can wear the same thing in different ways.

This windowpane sweater skirt is a great staple for your fall wardrobe. The material is amazing – stretchy, but still put together. Substantial, but not too heavy. I love it paired with a rich fall color like this mustard top (you can’t see it here, but it has long ties, so I made a bow in the back, but you can also tie it in the front). But of course, I love a good mixed print outfit and this printed sleeveless blouse – it’s busy, but balances nicely with the clean lines of the skirt.
