2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview

I’m not going to bother explaining what the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is or why there’s so much buzz about it – chances are you probably already heard it from another blogger. But, I will be sharing my favorite pieces, what I buy, how I’m styling things, what I love and what I’m returning over the next few weeks – so brace yourselves!

Apparently a lot of bloggers received a SKU list (an Excel spreadsheet of product numbers) that they could then enter into the search bar to find items. Sadly I’m not a big enough blogger to be in the loop, but I was savvy enough to start by pulling product numbers from the NSale catalog.

From there, I started playing around with the digits and discovered even more pieces. And from there, I looked around at the suggested outfits and noticed even more links to NSale products. My online stalking skills finally came in handy! Totally unglamorous work, but mindlessly fun while watching the Schitt’s Creek – ha!

Anyways, I digress. Today, I’m sharing ten items from what I’ve found so far that I love. Some of them I’ve purchased in previous years and absolutely swear by, while some I will be adding to my shopping cart as soon as it’s Friday at 12:30 ET (which is when cardholders can shop)!

Leith Transfer Stitch Turtleneck Sweater – $38.90 ($55 after sale)

This colorblock turtleneck sweater is going to be the first thing in my shopping cart when the sale starts tomorrow. I love the neutral color combo and am already planning to wear this all fall and winter. I remember seeing a similar style on a blogger last year for $100+ and I’m so excited to snag this much more affordable option!

Sole Society Faux Leather Tote – $45.90 ($69.95 after sale)

As a public transportation commuter, I’m always looking for a work bag that’s big enough to hold my laptop, but slim enough for the subway. I love this really affordable option from Sole Society and especially appreciate the two front pockets. Now the major question – black or brown?

Nars Satin Lip Pencil Set – $39 ($109 value)

Guys – these are, hands down, my favorite lip pencils ever. Actually, they’re more like a lipstick and provide long-lasting coverage. I have so many of these scattered in different bags, in my makeup kit and at work. While I’ve never tried these colors (I’m more of a Rikugien and Sex Machine girl), the savings on this set is so insane that it’s worth a shot!

Thread & Supply Wubby Pullover Sweater – $49.90 ($78 after sale)

These fuzzy pullovers sold out so fast last year that when I went into the store, they didn’t have my size. I still tried it on and remembered how soft and cozy it felt! It comes in a bunch of different colors for this year’s sale and will be perfect cool autumn nights or lounging around the apartment.

Vince Camuto Knee High Boot – $159.90 ($239.95 after sale)

I think my best #NSale purchase ever was a pair of suede knee high boots from Sam Edelman two years ago. I wear them nearly every day in the fall and always get complimented on them. While these pair are slightly different, I really love this shade of tan and the low wooden block heel!

Halogen Tie Waist Twill Pants – $65.90 ($99 after sale)

Over the past couple of years, I’ve become more and more of a pants girl – especially for work. I love that these are capri length (which means they’ll probably hit me ankle length or full length). Both color options are great for now or fall – it also comes in black! There was a similar pair of pants during last year’s sale that sold out so fast!

Adidas Edge Lux 3 Running Shoe – $63.90 ($85 after sale)

I’m such a sucker for a white sneaker and I especially love the pink and gold accents on this pair. It also comes in black, which would be more durable for running and exercise, but the white pair are just too pretty not to buy!

Zella Hooded Fleece Jacket – $58.90 ($89 after sale)

Give me all things soft and fuzzy! After combing through sale items, it’s clear – furry, nubby, teddy bear-like textures are everywhere and I’m here for it. I like the more athleisure take on this hooded jacket and am leaning towards getting it in the pink!

Topshop Faux Leather Crop Moto Jacket – $62.90 ($95 after sale)

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also the perfect time to stock up on moto jackets. I bought one black faux leather and another in brown suede two years ago and wear them constantly. I love that this one is cropped and a light shade of grey – it also comes in black.

Nordstrom Lingerie Moonlight Short Pajamas – $35.90 ($55 after sale)

Another #NSale staple – Nordstrom’s in house brand of pajamas are incredible! I bought the black version two years ago and a light blue set last year and I switch between the both of them every night! They’re so incredibly soft and remind me of the much more expensive Eberjey version.

Are you shopping the sale over the next few weeks? If you’re looking for anything specific, let me know and I’ll be sure to include it in future roundups!
