In Between Summer and Fall

I can hardly believe the first day fall is this week. I feel like the past month has been a whole bunch of transitions, but the one between summer and fall can sometimes be the trickiest of all.

It seems that there are two types of people on my Instagram feed right now: those who are going full throttle with fall and those that are soaking up every second left of summer. Which camp are you in?

I think I’m somewhere in between. This summer was wonderful, but also marked with a major change: buying our very first home. We moved a few weeks ago, then went on an incredible trip to Spain, and now we’re back slowly unpacking box by box. Just like we’re in between seasons right now, I feel like I’m in between homes – I’m missing the familiarity of our old apartment and working on making our new place feel like home. If I could fast forward to feeling settled, believe me I would!
