I recently popped into a LOFT store after ordering a few new pieces and this weekend they’re offering 40% off full price and an extra 50% off sale items — just in time for some three-day weekend shopping! By the way, did you know that you can now make a purchase online and then pick up in your nearby LOFT store on the same day? This service was in the works right before I left my job there and I’m so so glad it’s now available! When I came in to pick up my order (I picked up this striped sweater, this graphic sweater and this bell sleeve tee), I did a quick scan of the store and found a few pieces that I just had to try on. I’m loving the color scheme of their latest delivery — lots of pretty pinks just in time and a dash of blue because it’s one of my favorite colors to wear.
You know you can never go wrong with stripes and this red/white combo is especially perfect for a casual outfit. I love the button detail on the sleeves, but don’t love the fact that the fabric between the buttons pucker out a bit. I’m wearing an XS here but think if I got my hands on an XS petite that the sleeves would fit a little more snug on my arms.
LOFT made an incredible chenille cardigan last fall (I wore it in a mustard color while apple picking in October). The pink sold out SO fast, but is back for spring with bell sleeves. It has mixed reviews online with some people saying it’s too short, but I think it’s actually a great fit. The fabric is incredibly soft and the flared sleeves are a nice, novel twist to a spring staple. I’m wearing an XS here and the sleeves hit perfectly at my wrists.
I never considered owning a fuzzy sweater until I laid my eyes on this one. I promise you that the short sleeves and shade of pale pink make this sweater more High Street than Sesame Street. I love it paired with skinny jeans, but I also saw it styled with these pink pants on a store mannequin. You can’t see it in these photos, but it’s also got a cute little tie on the back of the neck also. Wearing an XS petite here.
How perfect is this work look for spring? I’ve never purchased work pants from LOFT before since I usually go to Ann Taylor for my work clothes (I swear by these ankle pants for work!). I was pleasantly surprised with how great these pink pants fit. If I had to describe the color, I would say it’s a touch more subtle than bubblegum pink, but not quite blush or pale pink. I’m wearing a 2P here and even though they’re ankle pants, they still fit like full length on me (forever short girl problems). I went with an XSP in the blouse, which is truly a pale/nudish shade of pink. Love them both and definitely planning to wear this outfit around the office in the near future!
It looks like cold shoulders aren’t going anywhere, although I’ve kind of eased up on them over the past few seasons. I was interested in the ruffle detail of this top when I saw it on the hanger, but I’m not so sure about it on me. Like, I can’t tell if it’s because the ruffle goes all the way around or if that there’s not enough, but something is a little off! I’m wearing an XS and for what it’s worth, it’s super soft and also comes in navy.
If there’s two things I can’t get enough of in my wardrobe, it’s stripes and bell sleeves. I actually wore a very similar top on the blog last year, but this one is way better quality and the material isn’t as stiff. It’s definitely the kind of top that you can wear to work or over the weekend. I love it so much that I’m considering buying it to replace my other one. Wearing an XS here and the sleeves hit me just past the wrist.
