Summer Staple: Bucket Bags

For the longest time, I stewed over the bucket bag. I loved the idea of it — the nautical inspiration, the relaxed shape — but I never was able to commit. It was definitely uncharted waters for me and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on something I wasn’t completely sold on yet. I mean, we can’t all shell out $6,000 for a bucket bag, am I right?
It wasn’t until recently that I finally pulled the trigger on the trend and I’m in love! When done right, the bucket bag can be classic, playful and practical (it fits all my things, including my DSLR!).
So in the spirit of sharing, I rounded up my favorite bucket bags for you! Whether you go with something minimalist, bold or boho, I think we can all agree that there’s something for everybody in the mix. Happy shopping and happy weekend!

The nude is my favorite (and so practical), but that yellow one is fun, too!
I love bucket bags, they’re wonderful, although I have to be careful to go through the contents regularly because I tend to acquire more “stuff” because there’s more space, hehe. The Elizabeth and James Cynnie Mini Bucket Bag is REALLY cute–but whew–$445!

That Old Navy bag is such a perfect way to try out the trend — it’s not lacking in style but is nice and affordable!

These bags were popular when I was little but it looks like they’re coming back in style!
I don’t own a bucket bag.. but I think I should because these look really nice! I especially like the straw one!
