Not trying to jinx anything here, but this week, I’m officially storing my winter coats for hibernation. It’s time to break out the lightweight outerwear and while I love myself a classic trench coat, I have my eyes on a different kind of jacket this season: the anorak. It’s part utility, but full on fashion with plenty of ways to wear it.

First up: a flirty feminine look. I’m loving the blush anorak jacket from LOFT, but Topshop makes a great alternative. Pair it with a white lace dress and a pair of strappy wedges and you’re basically the epitome of spring.

I also dig the laid back look and nothing’s more classic than a color combo of navy, white and cognac. Throw on a pair of Chucks (I’ve owned mine for over a decade!) and it doesn’t get much easier than that.

I’ve never seen a blush anorak, but I think I’m in love! I usually only see green or darker versions, but this color is so pretty and feminine! Here’s hoping the winter coats are gone for good!
