It’s no secret that I’m a bit of a J.Crew aficionado.  Their clean cuts and preppy style blends perfectly into my closet.  But I never purchase anything from J.Crew at full price or even at sale price.  About every 3-4 weeks, J.Crew marks an additional 30% off its sale prices and let me tell you, the savings are definitely worth the wait.  The 30% off sale is going on now online (just enter “SHOPNOW” at checkout) until Thursday and I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite finds from the sale (marked with the sale price and the additional 30% discounted price).  Happy shopping everybody!

1. Ella Dress in Garden Floral — $99.99 ($69.99)
2. 3″ Chino Shorts — $34.50 ($24.15)
3. Silk Bow Cami in Stripe — $78 ($54.60)
4. Triple-Stripe Necklace — $59.99 ($41.99)
5. Bette Suede Platform Wedge — $138 ($96.60)
6. Classic Mini in Double Serge Cotton – $79.50 ($55.65)
7. Selima Sun Belle Sunglasses — $88 ($61.60)
8. Skinny Leather Belt — $24.99 ($17.49)

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you already know that I’m trying something different this week: styling a plain white t-shirt in three very different ways (my own modified version of College Fashion’s style challenge).  Besides making wardrobe changes heck of lot easier, the challenge really inspired me to look at my closet more creatively.

First up: the plain white tee all glammed up.  Black staples plus injections of bright, bold color make for a surprisingly easy and edgy transformation.  This might be my favorite look, but we’ve still got two more to go!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Ainslee of A Beautiful Heart!  Besides being a fellow Wildcat and hailing from the same hometown, we immediately bonded over our mutual love of fashion blogs, J.Crew, and all things sparkly.  She’s the sweetest girl and was gracious enough to let me parade her gorgeous handmade jewelry all over my blog (seen here, here, and here).  Check out her lovely Etsy shop and let me know what some of your favorite pieces are!
