glitz + glam.

Had enough with animal prints yet?  Didn’t think so.  I wore this outfit on the second day of #IFBCON almost two weeks ago.  After having gone with an edgy vibe on day one, I wanted to make day two a bit more glam.  Black, white and red combo is a no-brainer, but the animal print, statement necklace, and velvet flats add a little bit more luxe to an otherwise classic look.

winding down.

Summer is winding down, so I thought I’d get a little wear out of my rompers before I store them away until next year.  It’s my last weekend in Arizona and between packing, eating at my favorite spots, and saying goodbye to all my friends, there’s still so much to do before I leave!  So here’s hoping your weekend will be as jam-packed (or not!) as mine.

bold blazer.

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you already know that I’m trying something different this week: styling a plain white t-shirt in three very different ways (my own modified version of College Fashion’s style challenge).  Besides making wardrobe changes heck of lot easier, the challenge really inspired me to look at my closet more creatively.

First up: the plain white tee all glammed up.  Black staples plus injections of bright, bold color make for a surprisingly easy and edgy transformation.  This might be my favorite look, but we’ve still got two more to go!
