9 Alternatives to the Blanket Scarf

It’s pretty safe to say that winter is here. For the first time all season, it felt bone-chilling cold in NYC. I broke out my first blanket scarf of the season yesterday, but quickly realized that I’m just not that into the trend anymore. Sure, it’s warm AF under a thick blanket scarf, but add on a sweater and a puffer coat and things start to feel a little too bulk for my liking. That’s why I rounded up nine cute and cozy alternatives to the blanket scarf, which fall into three styles that I’m absolutely loving for winter.
1. Cashmere
I love cashmere anything for its crazy soft touch, but it tends to skew on the pricier side (case in point: this plaid scarf). The bright side: this is the tie of year when a lot of winter accessories go on sale like this solid option which comes in six different colors or this colorblock style which comes in three different combos. It might seem like an investment upfront, but cashmere can instantly elevate your winter outfit and I think that’s well worth it!
