Later this week, James and I are headed down to St. Martin for a little tropical getaway. I did a little pre-vacay shopping this past weekend, but I have a bit more outfit planning and packing to do. I’m thinking strappy sandals (although I’ll probably be barefoot the entire time), bright rompers and tropical print everything. Derby season is here! Last year, I went to the Belmont Stakes (one of the three Triple Crown races) and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the derby culture. It’s not so much about the horse racing as it is about getting gussied up in a feminine dress and an over the top hat and making an entire day out of a two-minute race.
