Later this week, James and I are headed down to St. Martin for a little tropical getaway. I did a little pre-vacay shopping this past weekend, but I have a bit more outfit planning and packing to do. Derby season is here! Last year, I went to the Belmont Stakes (one of the three Triple Crown races) and I couldn’t help but fall in love with the derby culture. It’s not so much about the horse racing as it is about getting gussied up in a feminine dress and an over the top hat and making an entire day out of a two-minute race.
