It’s one of my favorite times of the year: florals are in full bloom in the city. There really is nothing else quite like it … bustling streets are lined with beautiful tulips and gorgeous blossoms hang overhead in every park. Everything’s a bit brighter and everyone’s a little happier. It’s no wonder that my style tends to follow suit. This blue floral skirt is the latest addition to the arsenal and I have no doubt it’ll give the sidewalk planters a run for their money!

I recently added another dropwaist dress to the wardrobe. Are you surprised? Probably not. I’ve been kind of on a kick lately (last seen here and here). Today though, it’s all about this filigree print (which also comes in skirt form!). It makes enough of a statement, that it doesn’t need to be paired with much else … simple jewelry, ankle strap heels and the cutest clutch for a pop of color.

I’m in New Orleans for the my bachelorette weekend and I’m so excited to be spending the next few days with my favorite ladies!
