This past weekend, I took a quick trip down to DC where the weather was insanely gorgeous — I’m talking pops of neon, bare legs and open toes kind of gorgeous! As much as I love taking in all the monuments (especially at night), this time around, my favorite moment involved sitting on the National Mall, with reading material in hand and sans shoes on my feet. Sometimes seemingly small moments that turn out to be incredibly monumental.

Just a little outfit remix to get the week started. I wore this baroque print dress last month as a skirt, but this time around, I’m letting the whole number shine through. And with NYC’s gorgeous weather in the mid-60s, a black blazer is all I need to top off the look.

This year, I went to three weddings in three different seasons: spring, summer, and fall (do winter weddings even exist?). I loved attending and dressing up for each one for different reasons, but fall weddings call for a look that’s a little more demure than its spring/summer counterparts.
