Spring Update

You know I love a good dropwaist dress (last seen here and here), but this navy one in particular has been a staple since I got it last fall. I probably wear it a couple times a month and have no plans on stopping! Last month, I wore it with a knit bomber, but this past weekend I opted for a denim jacket and as long as there’s a spring breeze in the air, I’ll keep switching it up with all kinds of different layers. A mint-colored crossbody bag and a bold lip color is all I need to complete this little spring update.

Bachelorette Party Outfits

It’s starting to hit me that our wedding is almost here (t-minus 46 days!!!). This weekend, I’m headed to New Orleans to celebrate with my best friends and my future sis-in-law. I can’t even explain how excited I am to have my favorite ladies from all over in one place. And even though I’m not that much of a party animal these days, I will always love a good reason to get dressed up!

I rounded up a few outfit options for a bachelorette party, whether you’re the bachelorette or one of the besties. Personally, I’m passing on the little white dress (I’m a notorious spiller), but I love this option paired with bold accessories like these coral earrings and this colorbock clutch.

I’m loving this printed dropwaist dress (which is on sale!) because there are so many colors to pull from for accessories. Maxi & Moto

Every day that it’s 60 degrees outside, I feel like yelling at the top of my lungs: spring is here! Well it’s been two weeks since the official start of the season, but spring isn’t really here until picture peonies are clogging up your Instagram feed and the whole city is covered in flowers. Soon enough! I see buds popping up in planters on every corner and within a few weeks, the streets will be in full bloom.

Until then, I’ll just have to represent in this floral maxi dress. I wore something similar for my bridal shower in Arizona, but I love how the black and white palette and a moto jacket give it a bit of an urban update. It also makes for the perfect backdrop to my new coral crossbody. Isn’t she a beaut? Check out some of my favorite floral maxi options below and someone please bring me some spring!
