It’s the third round of my style collaboration with Kacie of Kacie’s Kloset, Christina of Oh So Glam, and Kristin of Living in Color Print! This time, we’re showing you four ways to wear oxblood — the it color of the season.

I’m no stranger to oxblood (see exhibits A, B, and C) and this pair of skinny jeans have been a staple in my fall wardrobe ever since I scooped them up from Zara last month. This time around, I paired the pants with a patterned sweater and leopard flats. The combo incorporates my go-to mixed prints look without stealing the spotlight from the main attraction.
Check out how Kacie, Christina, and Kristin wore oxblood and let us know what you think about this fall’s most popular color trend in the comments section!

NYC’s skies have been covered in clouds for the past few days. On top of that, the days are getting shorter as the sun becomes slow to rise and quick to set. Moody weather calls for a moody outfit so I’m capping off the week with the color of the season paired with leather and leopard. Have a fantastic weekend!

With fall quickly approaching, it’s time we put away the bright colors and introduce richer shades into our wardrobe. As the weather cools down, I’ll be sharing some of this season’s major color trends to help bring your wardrobe up to date.
Lesson #1: Red is out. Oxblood is in. Not a big fan of the name, but I’m obsessed with the color. It’s a dark shade of burgundy with hints of brown and its richness just exudes warm and cozy feelings! Check out my favorite oxblood items below and let me know what you think of this fall color trend.
