Currently Craving: Black & White

It looks like New York might finally be rubbing off on me. This summer, I’ve been gravitating toward more neutrals than neons. I’m especially loving the high contrast between black and white. I know it’s not earth-shattering, but in a season full of brights and bolds, it’s refreshing to tune out the noise and keep things simple and sharp. I recently picked up this black and white striped dress and have my eye on these crocodile print shorts. What monochromatic pieces are you currently craving?

The Perfect Maxi (Part 2)

Remember this maxi dress? Well it’s baaaack. The length was so perfect that I couldn’t pass on the teal version. And after a day of lakeside shenanigans, it felt good to slip into something comfortable and light, yet still quintessentially summer. I promise you, I’ll be floating around in this frock all season long.

Fluted Skirt

Teal isn’t usually the first color that comes to mind when you think of summer, but I recently snagged this fluted skirt on major sale from J.Crew and had to take it for a spin. I decided to keep the rest of the palette on the same side of the colorF spectrum, mixing a navy printed tank with this gorgeous leopard clutch. I’m feeling more like fall in this outfit, but don’t you worry — I also just scooped up the skirt in bright red and poppy, so we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled bolds and brights soon enough!
