Plaid Blanket Scarf & J.Crew Coat

Hello 2015!  Even though we’re already five days into it, today feels like the official start of the new year. Maybe it’s because I spent all of New Year’s Day hungover in bed.  Or maybe it’s because I’m finally back to work and blogging after a long weekend.  Yeah, let’s pretend it’s that.

Plaid Blanket Scarf & J.Crew Coat

To kick off the New Year, I’ll be sharing some of my outfits from my trip to Europe over Christmas break.  I sported this blanket scarf and this faux fur hooded coat on our visit to the Louvre in Paris.  The fiancé navigated our way through the selfie-obsessed crowds in front of the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo and wandered through as many halls as we could.  We could’ve spent all day there and still not have seen everything so now I’m counting the days until we get to go back!

Merry Christmas Eve!  Whether you’re spending the week with your family and friends or out on a grand adventure (or in my case both!), I hope it’s full of holiday cheer.  I love wearing this kelly green midi skirt for festive occasions or just because.  I love it paired with a faux fur infinity scarf (now 40% off!) and leopard pumps, because let’s be real — you can never have too much spirit around this time of year.  Happy holidays to you and yours!

Aaaaand we’re back.  I can’t believe Thanksgiving Weekend is over already!  Really wishing we could just rewind to the feasting, the shopping and the wearing of the same leggings all weekend long, but alas … it’s Monday and I have to trade my elastic waistband for something a little more presentable.
