Is anyone else struggling with the fact that Christmas is less than three weeks away? If you’re a procrastinator like me, you’re probably saving your holiday shopping until the very last minute. That’s why for the next few weeks, I’ll be focusing on those hard-to-think-of-a-gift-for kind of people in your life (because anyone can put together a list of generic gifts for under $25).

The first subject of interest: your office Secret Santa. There’s nothing like a work-related gift exchange to have you both excited and stressed at the same time. Luckily my team is pretty tight-knit and after three years of working together, we’re pretty familiar with each other’s likes and dislikes. If you’re new on the job or the one stuck with your supervisor as your Secret Santa, this is the gift guide for you.

When it comes to a Secret Santa at work, it’s all about striking the right balance between thoughtful, tasteful and a price within whatever budget you were given (every idea in the collage above is under $50). There’s always the candle route, but make sure it feels as special as this gilded rosegold version. Usually anything coffee or tea-related is a safe bet – a monogram mug, a rosegold French press, or even a coffee table book on how to brew better. A caffeinated team equals a productive team, am I right?

I’d avoid gifting clothes to co-workers, unless you’re 100% sure of their size and their style. Instead, go for the one-size-fits-all failsafe of a colorblock clutch or a thick knit scarf (neutral colors are always classic choice). Jewelry can be a great option too. My former manager gave me this lariat necklace a few years ago and I wear it all the time.

As for my Secret Santa this year? I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read my blog, so I’ll go ahead and share half of her gift right here. The other half is something that I’m customizing for her and you’ll just have to check my Instagram stories next Thursday to see!

Skirt The Rules // 2015 Holiday Gift GuideRed Party Dress / Gold Pave X Cuff

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Well … maybe not quite yet because I feel like a goober dressing up in little red dresses and holiday plaid skirts while it’s 80°F here in Arizona.

It’s all good though. Even if you haven’t put up your tree yet (one holiday at a time people!), that doesn’t mean you can’t get an early start on your Christmas shopping.  I’m incredibly excited to share my 2015 Holiday Gift Guide, a downloadable, shareable, clickable and conveniently shoppable roundup that has something for everyone on your list. Get something for your friends, your family and yourself!

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Her

Dress // Necklace // Beige Bag  // Card // Bracelet // Dish // Watch // Earrings // Ring // Pink Bag // Candle

Whether you love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  I get why some people are turned off by this high pressure, overpriced holiday, but it’s more about what you make of it than how much you spend for it. Last year, James and I started a new tradition where I take him out for dinner the night before V-Day and he cooks me a meal at home the evening of.  We avoid the crowds and the ridiculously priced prix-fixe menus and spend more time enjoying what really matters.

Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Guys

But just in case you want to throw in a little something extra, I rounded up my favorite Valentine’s Day gift ideas for guys and girls.  A delicious homemade meal and a carefully curated present?  That sucks, said no one ever. For her (aka me!), a brightly-colored crossbody bag or a little coral dress would be the perfect gifts to usher in spring. For him, you could pour his favorite drink into a pair of copper mugs or pack him a duffel bag for a mini-adventure.  Or, if you’re flying solo this year, treat yourself to something splurge-worthy because you don’t need a guy to get you roses when you’ve got a candle like this.  How’re you planning to spend Valentine’s Day this year?
