city meets country.

Okay, so I’ll be completely honest here: I don’t really do country and I don’t do rodeos. Truth is, I once bought a pair of cowboy boots … and then only wore them once. Needless to say, I’m much more of a city girl that is occasionally inspired by the country spirit. So maybe my interpretation involves sequin and leopard — would you expect anything less?

fall essentials: tortoise.

By now, you all know my love for leopard. Well, meet tortoise: leopard’s more subtle, but still equally cool cousin. It’s nothing new, but the print has been popping up in accessories everywhere this fall and I ain’t mad. A touch of tortoise and a dash of gold make for an ultra luxe combo. There’s something undeniably classic about a pair of jeans and a crisp, white button-up, but, as you may have noticed, my definition of classic is anything but plain.
