Buttoned up shirts tied over colorful dresses — it’s kind of my jam and you’re gonna be seeing a lot of this combo over the summer.  It’s a quick and easy way to spice up a dress and quadruple your wardrobe options.  And if you’re always in a rush to run out the door like me, this is the kind of outfit that will let you snooze for those extra ten minutes.  Happy Monday peeps!

I never really liked the phrase, “Working for the weekend,” but it’s kind of the story of my life right now.  My weeks are jam packed with work, events and errands, but when Friday finally rolls around, I make sure to savor every free moment.  So I thought I’d start a new series on the blog and ring in the weekend with casual/cool outfits that scream TGIF. Yesterday I went tough with my outfit, but today I’m going tribal.  Starting with a bold printed skirt (surprise, surprise), I decided to embrace the vibe with a geometric necklace and bracelet.  I love how easy it is to go from one look to the next with the right prints and a few key accessories.
