weekend wear: day trip.

I always have an extra pep in my step on Friday morning. With the weekend just hours away, the possibilities for adventure are endless. Tomorrow, the bf, the pup and I are picking a train and a destination and going on a little spontaneous day trip. This weekend wear is inspired by our impromptu day date. I have good and bad news. We’re showing you how to tackle one of my favorite trends: mixing florals and stripes!

I’ve been rocking this look so much this spring (last seen here and here) that I almost ran out of pieces to pair! But fret not, I pulled this gorgeous floral midi skirt from storage and threw it on with my favorite summer blouse.
