I haven’t had many reasons to wear sunglasses this past winter, but I foresee plenty of activity in the sunshine this spring. And as much as I love my aviators and wayfarers, I think it’s time for a modern update on a classic staple. I’ve been seeing the mirrored sunglasses look popping up everyday and I’m loving it! My east coast friends warned me that February would be a downer — with the holiday season long gone and winter in full effect, seasonal depression would surely kick in. To my surprise, it was actually a great month. We got a bit of snow, but I didn’t let the freezing temps get me down. February was full of bright outfits, cozy layers, and a little bit of a winter adventure. With the days getting longer and the weather getting a little warmer, I can only imagine what’s to come for march!

color + class.

Last week, I loaded up my outfits with major doses of color. This week, I’m toning it down slightly — keeping my outfits bright, but grounded in neutral pieces. Color and class aren’t mutually exclusive. And whether you prefer to go all out or just add a few pops, there’s an appropriate level of color for everyone.
