I hate to admit it, but I was one of the maniacs that stayed up until 4:30 AM for the release of the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collections a few weeks ago. When the packages came in the mail, I couldn’t decide whether the sleep deprivation was worth it. But once this outfit came together, I felt a little bit better about my life. I’m all about creating luxe looks for less. And while the real 3.1 Phillip Lim is still on my wishlist, I’m glad I get to have a few fun pieces from the designer collab to call my own. Okay, so I’ll be completely honest here: I don’t really do country and I don’t do rodeos. Truth is, I once bought a pair of cowboy boots … and then only wore them once. Needless to say, I’m much more of a city girl that is occasionally inspired by the country spirit. So maybe my interpretation involves sequin and leopard — would you expect anything less?
