Polka dots and leopard are some of the most classic prints around.  On their own, they  liven up any outfit.  Put them together and they create a bold, but surprisingly cohesive look.  It’s currently my favorite combo on rotation, so I’m recreating it for you with pieces that are perfect for fall.

I never really plan my outfits in advance (which is maybe why I’m perpetually running late), but I like to start my day off feeling like a blank canvas.  Some days — like today — my outfit ideas start off soft and feminine and end up more forward and fierce.  Case in point: a fun floral dress that was completely transformed by a little leather and a pop of neon.  Take a little time to experiment with your wardrobe and I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised with all the possibilities!

Okay, so I’ll be completely honest here: I don’t really do country and I don’t do rodeos.  Truth is, I once bought a pair of cowboy boots … and then only wore them once.  Needless to say, I’m much more of a city girl that is occasionally inspired by the country spirit.  So maybe my interpretation involves sequin and leopard — would you expect anything less?
