Holiday Outfit Idea // Fuchsia Midi SkirtOh hey there, Monday … didn’t see you there.  I’m back from a 48-hour whirlwind weekend in Arizona, where the fiancé and I met with potential florists and venues and shot engagement photos before hopping on a red-eye flight back to New York.  It was a crazy product weekend, but not recommended for the faint of heart.

Holiday Outfit Idea // Fuchsia Midi Skirt

I wore this holiday-ready outfit at the recent launch of Roxy’s pop up shop in NYC, but shot it over the weekend while we were in Arizona because let’s be real … baring your arms and legs in December is more pleasant in the Southwest, than it is in SoHo this time of year.  Wherever you are, I hope you’re celebrating the season with a little sparkle and shine.  I don’t wear this jewel-collared blouse or these silver pumps often enough, but together, they make Monday morning a little merrier.

Aaaaand we’re back.  I can’t believe Thanksgiving Weekend is over already!  Really wishing we could just rewind to the feasting, the shopping and the wearing of the same leggings all weekend long, but alas … it’s Monday and I have to trade my elastic waistband for something a little more presentable.

Sleeveless in the City

Black Sleeveless Trench & Red Dress

So I’m sleeveless … in November.  That’s weird, right?  … especially after being bundled up from head to toe all week long. But hey, when life gives you 50°F weather on a Sunday afternoon, you take it and pretend like it’s autumn all over again.  I bought this sleeveless trench coat from Ann Taylor a few months back, but never got a chance to wear it until now.  And this rose-print dress?  Perfectly fine for winter, but way more fun with bare legs.  I hope you got a chance to take your favorite fall pieces out for one last spin this weekend … sans sleeves and sans tights.
