Fall Fling

One of my favorite dresses is back for fall. I originally fell in love with this teal maxi dress from LOFT earlier this summer and I plan on wearing it until it’s too cold to be rockin’ the side slit. The best part is that transitioning a maxi from summer to fall doesn’t require that much effort. All you need is a denim jacket and a leopard clutch and you’ll have that dress doing double duty in no time. Chartreuse City

When I booked my ticket to TX to visit my BFF Emily, she told me to pack my cowboy boots. Well my friends, this is probably as close as it gets. Skinny jeans and ankle boots — I know it’s far from rodeo material, but it was perfect for grabbing coffee and wandering the Riverwalk in San Antonio on a Sunday morning. Consider it my city twist with a splash of country inspiration.

Office Denim

I’m lucky enough to work in an office where I can wear denim, but that doesn’t mean you’ll find me in a weekend-ready look every day of the week. I try and keep my work and weekend outfits distinct, even if I’m wearing the same pair of jeans for both occasions. Black & Blue Colorblock Blazer The difference between denim on a Sunday and denim on a Monday? Well, work wear calls for a bit more refinery, which usually means a tucked-in a blouse and a navy blazer paired with my favorite leopard heels. Top it off with a little bit of lipstick and I feel polished, put together and ready to tackle the week!
