Every year, the holiday season seems to creep up on me, but not this time! This year, I’m putting together a holiday style guide with ideas of what to wear for every occasion. I’m kicking it off with Thanksgiving, which I can’t believe is only two weeks away!
For the first time ever, I won’t be spending time with my family on Thanksgiving, a day that I strongly associate with waking up to the Macy’s Day Parade on TV, flipping through Black Friday newspaper ads with my brother and helping — er, watching — my mom whip up an amazing family meal.
It’s going to be a quiet Turkey Day in NYC, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be mixing in a few fabulous details into my low key look. Pair a sweet little dress with laid back flats and one big, sparkly necklace and you’ve got the perfect balance of casual chic.
