Considering how hot it’s been lately, wearing anything other than a slipdress requires a lot of effort. On days where I feel like putting in more energy, you can usually find me in some sort of skirt – I do have a blog name to live up to, after all! This pinstripe midi skirt from Chicwish is sold out, but I linked a few options below (including this affordable number). I paired it with short sleeve button up and my new tan sunnies, for an outfit that feels like it’s from another era. Dare I say, I can’t wait for it to cool down again so I can play around in more looks like this.

I wore an off the shoulder romper a few weeks ago and I just can’t seem to get the style out of my head. What can I say? I love a little shoulder in the summer. Along with the super simple slip dress, it’s going to be a major staple this summer (let’s be real, it’s an effortless outfit for when it’s hot as balls outside). I just bought this dress and have my eyes on this one next – a little boho-inspired and a whole lot of easy.

Remember this dress? Well today, it’s doing double duty as a top. This outfit was actually from way back in May, which I barely got around to shooting it last week. I wore it with this gorgeous floral skirt the day before our wedding – we went to the courthouse with our family to get all the paperwork together and then had brunch with my beautiful bridesmaids. Nothing like a little Throwback Monday to get the week started!
