I have mixed feelings about Valentine’s Day — it feels forced, overhyped, and usually way overpriced.  With that said, I still can’t help but get a little excited over getting into the spirit, dressing up and running down aisles flowing with chocolate (Hershey Hugs!).  Whatever your take on V-Day is, I put together two outfits that should get you through the dreaded and/or beloved day.

No matter what side of the party line you’re on, I think we can all agree that Sasha and Malia Obama nailed it in ultra violet hues at yesterday’s Presidential Inauguration.  I mean, Michelle looked lovely in her navy Thom Browne coat, but these girls stole the show and inspired me to round up a few of my favorite purple pieces.
