I have to admit – every month, I make a promise to myself to take it easy on the shopping sprees. And then just like clockwork, a killer sale comes along and it’s just too good to pass up. The good thing is, over the past few years, I’ve become really picky about what I buy and my recent purchases have really been earning their keep. I wore this blue and white striped shirt over the weekend with these ripped jeans and a pair of slide loafers. Speaking of jeans, I recently “discovered” the magic of high-waisted denim and I’m not quite sure what took so long. Within the course of a month, I’m the proud owner of the destroyed denim in this post, a pair of white skinny jeans and a pair of white denim shorts (I can’t wait until the weather warms up to wear them!).
My other purchases speak for themselves, but I will say one thing about this bamboo ark bag, which is actually a dupe of a much more expensive designer version. You’ve probably seen this bag everywhere. If you’re on the fence about it, I’m telling you now: get it and you won’t regret it! It’s only $40 on Amazon and is such a fun conversation-starting kind of accessory. I carried it all over town on our trip to Havana a few weeks ago and it was big enough to hold my camera, my iPhone 7 Plus and a whole of other knick knacks. I can’t wait to go on more summer trips with this baby.
