After I landed my previous job for this major women’s fashion retailer, I donated all my suits thinking I’d never need them again.

I was right! I haven’t had to wear an all black or dark charcoal suit in the past five years and it’s been amazing.
(Side note: this is where I used to get my suits and they’re much cooler now than they were when I was in law school!)
While my current job doesn’t require me to wear a suit anymore, I still love a good blazer. This navy one and this white one are my wardrobe staples, but I love the texture of this gray herringbone blazer (plus it has elbow patches!). These days, I pair my blazers with a pair of skinny jeans (a dark wash tends to feel more professional) and a fun blouse like this polka dot print.
