In case you missed it, I started sharing my fitting room try-ons via Instagram Stories a few weeks ago, so I thought I’d share them here too!
First up is this tie front henley. It’s a great basic that comes in a few other colors (black, burgundy and cream). It’s currently on sale for President’s Day at $22, but is typically $44 full price. It’s such a great staple for the weekends – the fabric is super soft and I love the v-shaped neckline. I’m wearing an XS, but sizes are selling out fast!
I’ve seen a few bloggers wear this sherpa pullover and the hype is real. This half-zip sweater is ridiculously warm and really cozy. I love the tan/dusty pink stripe, but if solids are more your thing, it also comes in black! I’m wearing an XS.
You guys know I love a good off the shoulder neckline and I just had to try this pink button-up top. It’s only $38 and also comes in black and cream. I thought I had picked up an XS, but turns out it was a M and it was tight – in a good way. I love it tucked into a pair of high waisted skinny jeans.
The oversized blazer trend has been around for a bit, so I thought I’d give it a whirl. This plaid blazer is a size 4 (the smallest size they had in store) and while I think it did it’s job, I’m not sure if the look is for me. As a petite girl (I’m 5’2″ and about 115 pounds), I prefer my clothes fitted. Although, paired with a lace cami and high waisted skinny jeans, I think the proportions kind of balance out.
This button up top is one of my favorites. I love that it feels like a cardigan , but is actually worn as a pullover sweater. The large tortoise buttons are a nice detail and the cropped length pairs well with high waisted jeans. I’m wearing an XS here!
