I know spring has been around for weeks now, but – believe it or not – this has been the first weekend that I’ve actually gotten to enjoy it.

That’s what you get when you’ve been sick for nearly three weeks! It’s a bi-annual, changing of the seasons ritual – I get sick once in the spring and once in the fall. But this go around seemed extra painful. While all of New York was brunching al fresco or kicking off rooftop season, I was on the couch binge watching 13 Reasons Why, The Crown and The Path (maybe I should be sick more often?). Yesterday was the first day that I finally started to feel like myself again and James and I took full advantage of the city looking its finest in bloom!

Obviously, I had to dress the part. I bought this botanical print dress a few weeks ago, but haven’t been able to wear it until now. If there’s two things I love in life (besides my husband, family, friends, dog and job), it’s cold shoulders and floral prints. It’ll be perfect for weekend brunches (now that I can finally partake!), special occasions or just a (very much long-awaited) stroll in the park.

I wish this dress looked as amazing on me when I tried it on as it does on you! I tried it on and sadly it looked horrible on me. I love the pattern! And glad that you are feeling better!
