You gotta love a floral summer dress that’s part patriotic, part feminine and oh-so-perfect for the office. I couldn’t help but throw on a big red statement necklace to celebrate the country’s birthday.
As much as I love skipping town during long weekends, we played tourist in our own city over the holiday. It’s something I wish I did more of – instead, I usually spend my time daydreaming about ways to escape NYC (the wanderlust is real, guys). But having friends and family come to visit always reminds me of how New York really is one of the greatest cities in the world.
We picnicked in Central Park, set sail on the Hudson with North River Lobster Co. and watched fireworks explode along the East River. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to fall back in love with the city.
