We took the view in from a few different vantage points – from Filopappou Hill (also known as the Hill of Muses), from the roof of 360 Cocktail Bar and from Mount Lycabettus. It’s kind of like the Duomo is in Florence – a landmark in the center of the city, where there really isn’t a bad view in sight.
But there’s something awe-inspiring about getting up close and personal with the Acropolis. Maybe it’s the thought of standing in front that was built in ancient times or maybe it was just the glowing light pouring through the columns. If you’re in Athens, it’s definitely a sight to be seen!
