Coffee Shop Vibes in Seattle

So don’t be surprised/alarmed that I have a huge smile on my face in most of my Seattle photos. On Friday, our friends Sarah and Ryan showed us around their neighborhood of Ballard. It’s just north of downtown Seattle, but a completely different vibe – a little bit hip, a little bit historic and lined with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. We lunched at Bitterroot BBQ (best jalapeño hush puppies ever) and then grabbed coffee at Café Umbria.
I went for casual coffee shop vibes in an army green utility vest and destroyed skinny jeans. I love channeling Seattle’s laid back style, but still had to keep things a little feminine with this tie front blouse (I also have it in navy, last worn here).
As for the coffee? Well, let’s just say this was one of a dozen shots of espresso I had over the weekend and I’m not ready to pick favorites quite yet.

I’m obsessed with this outfit! This is the perfect casual spring outfit to head out to lunch or go explore the city in! I need to pick up an army green vest ASAP.

Love this vest! I’ve been thinking about getting something like that but wasn’t sure how to style it. Looks super cute like this. And I totally want to visit Seattle, I think I would love it there!
