TGIF! The weekend could not have come any quicker. I feel like I’ve been c00ped up in the office all week, but now I’m ready to hit the town and soak up the sunshine! My dad is coming into town and true story: he’s here to visit my dog, not me, so you can probably find me at the park or brunching al fresco tomorrow. It’s finally starting to warm up around here and I’ve got vacay on my mind. It’s probably because, despite the fact that I’m a few years out of school, I always associate the month of March with spring break. I’d give anything to be by the beach right about now, but I’ll have to settle for being poolside in a few weeks when I head back to Arizona. In the meantime, I conjured up two spring break inspired outfits starring this leafy print romper and this bright orange dress. Do you have any vacation plans coming up? As much I love skirts (I do have a blog name to live up to, afterall), I just don’t wear enough of them during the winter because I hate hate hate tights. Hate. But I think we’ve finally hit a turning point — even though there’s still a little bit of snow on the ground, spring is in the air!
And so the bare legs are back in NYC! Obviously they need to catch a few more rays, but I couldn’t wait to take this striped midi skirt out on the town. I paired it over a floral dress from last summer and the mixed print combo immediately added an extra pep to my step. Sunnier days ahead, my friends!
