Sweater Coat

Forest Green Sweater Coat

After finally investing in a puffer coat this winter, I’ve got to admit: I can’t believe I lasted two winters on the East Coast without one.  True story: during my first winter here, I was scolded by an elderly lady in a Dunkin’ Donuts for being out sans puffer.  So I’m sure she would fall out of her chair knowing that I wandered around the city in a sweater coat this weekend. #sorrynotsorry  It was a sunny 40°F outside yesterday, which is double what it has been averaging over the past couple weeks.  So even though there was a little bit of snow on the ground still, believe me when I say: I will take what I can get and shed the layers whenever I can.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

It was nice to not be completely freezing with the 40 degree weather yesterday! Clearly we are no where near as lucky the next few days. Your jacket is so cute!

I have loved the sweater coat look this season, especially for us more petite ladies. Its looser structure is perfect for a more casual look. Love this color on you!

  5. Such a beautiful knit jacket. Very pretty jewel-tone. Also very pretty, the lengendary street you’re on. Has to be the best in the Washington Square Park area. I love to shoot there when I’m wearing a gown. So dramatic.

  7. Shoot, 40 degrees is balmy! Totally appropriate sweater coat weather. I too have a puffer coat, but I save it for those REALLY cold days. I don’t have a sweater coat, though. You’re totally making me want one!
