By now, I’m sure you’ve already heard all the hubbub surrounding Pantone’s 2014 Color of the Year: Radiant Orchid. Pantone is the “global authority” on color — a gig that was probably made up by someone just because they could. Either way, I’m digging the rich shade of purple/fuschia/pink and I plan to add more of it into my wardrobe come spring. What do you think of the purple proclamation?

I am obsessed with this color! And that bag in your collage is amazing. It’s funny, though, I feel like tangerine tango was everywhere a few years ago (I look terrible in orange and it is the color of basically every team I root against, so I wasn’t into it), and then I didn’t see emerald any more than usual last year (and I do love emerald). I hope there will be a lot of orchid items this year!
