resolved revival

Polka Dot Sweater + Navy Skirt

Happy 2014!  One of my resolutions is to get more mileage out my wardrobe, so I’m starting off the new year with some old favorites.  That means reviving an old polka dot sweater for the first time in over a year.Polka Dot Sweater + Navy SKirt

As a blogger, I sometimes feel like there’s a pressure to constantly be buying new clothes and wearing the latest trends.  Hey, I’m all for shiny new things, but there’s something even more satisfying about breathing new life out of old clothes.  Granted, I did just scoop up a bunch of new clothes on sale over the holiday break, but I promise to wear those pieces to shreds!Polka Dot Sweater + Navy SKirt Polka Dot Sweater + Navy SKirt Polka Dot Sweater + Black Statement Necklace Navy Skirt + Black Ankle Strap Pumps

I know exactly what you mean about feeling the pressure to buy new things as a blogger but I think it’s great to bring out old pieces and remix them, which is what I’ve also been trying to do 🙂
love this outfit, the polka dots work so well with the navy skirt!

  3. I did the same thing today! I’m guessing if your closet is as well-stocked as mine is, we should both have plenty to wear without shopping for a looooooong time. But if I could make it a couple weeks, that would be enough for me. 😉

Totally with you on the pressure to buy new things. I definitely need to do more re-imagining with what I already have, and less spending. Love this combo and think you’re off to a great start!
