In honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’ve got more pink inspiration coming your way via some of my favorite personal style bloggers. Pink has always been a go-to staple for a feminine vibe, but there are plenty of ways to transform the girly color into a look that’s unexpected, edgy, and modern. Rule of thumb: the brighter and more shocking the pink, the better!

As promised, I’m wearing another pink number in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. When I first thought about making this into a week-long project, I was worried that I didn’t have enough pink in my wardrobe to make a week’s supply of blog-worthy outfits.
Then I realized that there are plenty of ways to wear pink without looking like a bottle of Pepto Bismol. By pairing a striped sweater with more earthy tones and leopard pumps, today’s outfit reflects the current change in the seasons and still gets the message across.

There are plenty of ways to participate in October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month by doing what we what we do on a regular basis: walking, running, and obviously my personal favorite — shopping. I’ve rounded up some items that are both charitable and chic and noted how much of your purchase actually goes to charity in the deets below. Oh and if pink’s not your jam, check out the Huffington Post’s list of 14 non-pink breast cancer awareness products!
