Stripes are a no brainer any time of the year, but I feel like they’re especially ripe for the picking right now – especially when we’re sick of all the winter colors and layers. Just take a look at any retailer right now and you’ll see stripes are out in full force. I wore this new red and white striped sweater on Monday and just added this knit dress and this boatneck tee to my shopping cart. Just add a pair of cherry red sunglasses or white skinny denim and you’ve got all of the spring vibes.

Aside from an unhealthy obsession with J.Crew a few years ago, I wouldn’t normally classify myself as preppy. Maybe a touch of gingham and a crisp button-up shirt here and there, but you probably won’t find me repping giant Tory Burch logos or Lily Pulitzer prints. I did, however, feel inspired to embrace my inner prep while traveling up the coast over the weekend. I packed this scalloped skirt in white and my very first pair of Jacks among other New England-inspired pieces. On the top of my wishlist: this leather and canvas tote (now 40% off!) and this floral print backpack (drool). Just the right combination of pretty and prep.

I’m in New Orleans for the my bachelorette weekend and I’m so excited to be spending the next few days with my favorite ladies! Thanks to a very secretive Maid of Honor, I’m not privy to anything on the agenda so a versatile wardrobe is a must.
