Happy Friday! Even though I’ve been back from Arizona for almost two weeks now, I feel like this my first real weekend of summer. Last week was dedicated to unpacking, cleaning and napping, but now I’m back in full force. The weekend starts with my favorite off-the-shoulder top (comes in four different colors and worn in mint here!), a pair of destroyed denim shorts and a brunch date with a girlfriend that I haven’t seen in forever.

Also on the to-do list: a little summer outfit shopping. One of my favorite brands is offering 40% off your entire purchase this weekend, which includes this straw clutch, this striped maxi dress and this lace skirt. I’m also currently obsessed with this floral print, which I just got in a romper and a maxi dress. Summer weekends have never looked so good. TGIF loves!

Happy Monday my friends! I can’t believe it’s been a little over a week since our wedding. The upside: I finally feel semi-caught up on life and sleep. The downside: I probably can’t play the, “I just got back from my wedding, can you cut me some slack?” card at work anymore.

Shop Floral Midi Skirts:

We decided to save our honeymoon until September so we could take some time to decompress, enjoy summer and still have something to look forward before fall hits. Until then, it’s little adventures around NYC and hopefully up and down the East Coast.

I’m also taking some time to clean out the closet and refresh the wardrobe for summer. I recently scored this blue floral print midi skirt from one of my favorite online boutiques. If you love a good midi skirt, this is the site for you. My closet is filled with fuschia, neon green and floral pieces from them (to name a few), and I have my eyes on this flamingo print next. I’m such a sucker for a cute skirt … but hey, it comes with the blog name.

Off The Shoulder

I’m finally back from the whirlwind of wedding week! And what a crazy adventure that was … we bounced around between four different cities in only a few days, pulled late nights to polish off last minute details and ended up writing our vows just hours before the ceremony, but it was all worth it to bring our family and friends together for the best day ever! This outfit was captured while visiting my parents out in San Diego during the calm before the storm. I wore this off the shoulder top twice during the trip, once with denim legs and later with denim shorts. It was the right amount of flowy ease that I needed to power through the craziness. But more on all things #skirtthewedding to come, I’m just glad to be back!
